Dr. Bharti Jain is a seasoned IP professional with over 14 years of experience in the field of Intellectual Property Rights, including filing, prosecution, opposition, invalidation opinion, due diligence, freedom to operate, prior art searching, enforcement and litigation of patents, trademarks, copyrights and industrial designs and allied transactional and non-transactional matters such as Agreements etc.
She has practical experience in handling domestic and foreign IP matters including countries like US Europe, China, Japan, Middle east, South east Asian countries. Her area of expertise includes life sciences, medical devices, immunological, herbal, pharmaceutical inventions. She is also well versed with the laws and issues related to biodiversity and traditional knowledge.
She is an awardee of prestigious “Women-Scientist Scholarship Scheme WOS-C (KIRAN IPR), TIFAC, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
She actively participates in many international and national conferences and seminars and is regularly called upon as a speaker in several seminars, conferences, patents awareness workshops conducted by various government agencies and private sector entities for training and advice on Intellectual Property laws. She is member of Asian Patent Attorney Association (APAA) and Licensing Executives Society International (LESI).
Prior to starting up her own Venture, she was associated with a reputed Delhi based Law Firm and Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi .
